 There are two unique gift shops located on site where you will find one of a
kind items.
As you are welcomed in the lightkeeper’s house, you will find one of a kind
hand made items on sale made by local artisans. The items range from small,
hand crafted buoys, homemade quilts, stain glassed lighthouses to Christmas
ornaments decorated with Nova Scotia tartan. Forget your camera? You can
choose from small to large photographs revealing breathtaking sceneries
representing life, culture and traditions of our area.
The Yarmouth Lighthouse Gift Shop, located in the bungalow on site, will be
celebrating its 13th year of operation in 2008. New items are introduced
each season and the shop offers visitors and residents alike the opportunity
to choose from a wide variety of memorabilia suitable to all ages. Come see
the expanding selection of Cape Forchu Lightstation custom gifts, as well as
jewelry, books, clothing, playing cards, postcards and much, much more. For

The tea room is adorned with paintings for sale by local artist Tootsie Emin.
Her inspiring talent captures many nautical themes representative of our
area, images of new and old Yarmouth along with a variety of scenic
paintings that truly come alive. Prints are also available for sale in the
gift shop.
